My journey with photography began in high school. In 2017, I joined yearbook and started capturing moments at sports events like football games and dance performances. After getting my First camera, I took it everywhere with me, showing up to as many games as I could and falling in love with documenting those moments.

In 2019, I moved back to Nevada and slowly lost touch with that passion. After graduating, I returned to Texas in 2020, but photography took a backseat and I rarely picked up my camera.

Everything changed in 2023 when I decided to fully commit to learning and building a business. One night, while scrolling through Facebook, I came across a post looking for a lighting assistant for a wedding photographer. Even though I had zero experience with lighting, something in me said to go for it. That single opportunity turned into assisting at multiple weddings, learning hands-on, and growing more confident with every experience.

By 2025, that same opportunity had led me to photographing weddings on my own. I learned so much during that time, and I’m incredibly grateful to My Mentor, Michele , for believing in me and giving me that First chance.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in this journey is to trust the process, follow your instincts, and take the opportunities that come your way. Stay open, stay ready, and believe in the abundance that can come from simply saying yes.
